2. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By accessing the website or purchasing an entry, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.

3. ELIGIBILITY

• You must be at least 18 years old
• You must submit original work owned by you
• You must provide accurate information

4. COMPETITION STRUCTURE (UK PROMOTIONAL LAW COMPLIANT)

This is a skill-based competition and not a lottery.

Judging Criteria:

Entries are evaluated based on:

• Originality
• Relevance to Tokyo
• Practical feasibility
• Creative merit

Random selection is never used.

5. ENTRY METHODS

A. Paid Entry

Users may enter via paid tiers displayed on the website.

B. Free Entry Route (Required under UK law)

• Maximum 200 words

• Submitted before round closure

Free entries:

• Are judged under identical criteria
• Do not receive paid features (AI artifact, reports, bonuses)

6. ENTRY LIMITATION

• Each round is limited to 100 entries only
• Once full, the round is permanently closed

7. PRIZE DISCLOSURE (CONSUMER PROTECTION)

• The winner will be publicly announced

Prize details: Tokyo Lore Ideas offers three entry tiers based on level of access and benefits:

• $19 — Believer Entry: Single-city submission with core evaluation and artifact
• $49 — Hustler Entry: Expanded exposure across 3 cities with enhanced features and increased visibility
• $99 — Founder Entry: Maximum reach across 16 cities with full analysis, priority visibility, and additional tools

All tiers provide entry into Round 01 and are subject to the same judging criteria. Higher tiers offer additional features but do not guarantee winning outcomes.

All claims relating to odds or benefits are indicative only and do not guarantee outcomes.

8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

Ownership

You retain full ownership of your submitted idea.

Licence Granted

By submitting, you grant Tokyo Lore Ideas a:

• Non-exclusive
• Worldwide
• Irrevocable licence

to review, analyse, and archive your submission.

9. REVENUE PARTICIPATION CLAUSE (LEGALLY STRUCTURED)

By submitting an idea, you agree that:

If your submitted idea is later developed into a commercial venture, Tokyo Lore Ideas shall be entitled to receive 3% of gross revenues derived directly from that idea.

Definitions:

• Commercial venture: Any product, service, or business generating revenue derived substantially from the submitted idea
• Gross revenue: Total revenue before deductions

Conditions:

• Applies only where there is a clear and direct link to the submitted idea
• Does not transfer ownership of your idea
• Applies for a period of 5 years from first commercialisation

Compliance:

• You agree to provide reasonable revenue reporting upon request
• Disputes subject to UK jurisdiction

10. CONSUMER RIGHTS & FAIR TRADING

In accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008:

• All descriptions must be accurate and not misleading
• No guaranteed outcomes are implied
• Pricing is transparent and final at checkout

11. DIGITAL SERVICE DELIVERY

• AI artifacts and analysis are targeted within 24 hours
• Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees
• We are not liable for delays caused by technical systems

12. REFUND POLICY

• No refunds after idea submission
• Refunds may be considered before submission at our discretion

13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
